When I prepared to shoot my latest film ?Fiesta Grand? I really wanted to add the depth of field look to it. I scoured the net and asked all my fellow filmmakers and was routed to the Redrock Micro website. Redrock Micro makes this contraption called the M2 adapter. It would allow me to use 35mm film lenses. I had to see this.
Lucky for me Redrock Micro?s wizard, Brian Valente lives in Southern California. I made the call and asked to visit him. After about 15 minutes of showing me all that the M2 adapter could do on various cameras, I was sold. Needless to say I used it on my film and loved my ?filmic? depth of field. My shots were fantastic.
Today I once again cornered Redrock Micro man Brian Valente to see what?s new over at the secret camp. Good stuff from what I hear. Enjoy.
